Tanjong Pagar

Featuring narrow, winding lanes and restored historical buildings, Tanjong Pagar is a shopper's paradise during the day and a night owl's delight after sundown.

The area also features a rich collection of fun pubs, bars and karaoke joints, many of which open till the early hours of the morning.

Tanjong Pagar can be reached by taking the MRT to Tanjong Pagar station, or by hopping on board the Singapore Trolley as it cruises down Orchard Road each evening.

Chinatown

Chinatown bustles from just before sunrise until late into the evenings.

The new Chinatown Point shopping centre features air-conditioned shopping and eating comfort, with a collection of food stalls in its basement food court. It is also home to three well regarded Chinese restaurants as well as one outlet serving hearty and spicy Indonesian food.

Combining an eating experience in Chinatown with some after-dinner revelry in the pubs of nearby Tanjong Pagar makes for a memorable and enjoyable evening in this historic part of Singapore.

Chinatown can be easily reached by taking the MRT to Outram station.
